This is the Little Drummer Boy a 1996 addition to the Simpich Carolers collection. This doll has always been displayed away from the sun and delicately packed into its box, only coming out at Christmas. I have taken the pictures with both flash and natural light.

Even though the flash colors are better, there are shadows. It stands approximately 8 tall. The wooden base is 3 across at the top and 3 ¾ at the bottom.

Its in very good condition. Was located in Old Colorado City Historic Commercial District.

They were a dollmaker and employed people to work at home on dolls. They were in production from 1952 to the retirement of their founders, Bob and Jan Simpich, in 2007 when they closed their studio.
