1900 German Fur covered Nodder Donkey Pull toy giving Santa a ride. The 12 Donkey is made of paper-mache, has glass eyes, floppy ears, and he nods his head when pulled on his wheeled cart. His fur is still thick and has deep brown color and in great condition!

Santa is German and has his rabbit fur beard, feather tree, and basket of toys for Christmas! He has nicely painted blue eyes, wool felt clothing. His coat has nicely embroidered trim, but it has some wear. His wool pants are badly faded and have holes in many places as shown.

It is hard to see when he sits on the donkey. Santa has an array of interesting antique Putz German toys, a wooden sailboat, metal train, metal submarine, wood carved toy soldier, lady doll, pig, horse, and sheep. The basket is just wrapped around his arms, so it is tippy with heavy lead sub inside basket. Santa is all original with chipping to his black boots.

Santa and Donkey on cart are unmarked, but definitely German. The wood cart is nice, has small metal wheels that are a bit wobbly. The Nodder Donkey with Santa is 12 1/2" high x 12" long.
