7in German Belsnickle Composition Santa Candy Container Felt Rabbit Fur Beard

  
You are Viewing a 7 inch tall Composition Santa Candy Container. I believe he was made by Belsnickle in Germany. It is marked Germany inside the candy compartment. His head, arms and from the hips down are composition with a cardboard body that slides together for opening and access to the candy inside. He has a jolly rosy red face and hands. His eyes are blue intaglio. His beard is made of rabbit fur. His coat and hat are made of felt. His paints and boots are painted on. His left boot has a hairline crack where it looks to have been repaired. He would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Please see my other listings for more antique and collectible items.
