This vintage Christmas candle holder features Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in a glossy ceramic finish. The all-over multicolor pattern and intricate details make it a rare find for any collector. The votive holder, made of ceramic and porcelain, was manufactured in Japan in the 1950s and is from the Rudolph collection by Lefton. There are a few areas I'd like to point out so please do look at all the photos carefully. On one side of it the artist seemed to add a stroke of brown on the from the antlers likely by mistake.
The face has a discoloration on the forehead on a small circular shape, the base once had a permanent green felt pad & the very back bottom ridge has like an extra dip of the ceramic extended as if from the mold and not sanded smooth before painting.
