Estate Rare Find Hand Sculpted Santa Clay Resin Designed and Sculpted by Renowned Artist Chase Andrew Winfield Whitley CAWW Studios. Beautifully sculpted and in excellent shape. Engraved into piece is the Artist name Chase Winfield and his Studio symbol (raven) and name CAWW studios. This piece shows a very happy Santa Claus in his workshop sitting on his bench putting on his boot.

There are toys and present around him. The detail is remarkable even down to the hole in the bottom of his boot. His suit has much detail as well.

The bottom corner is signed K Southern 12-13-94. Our guess is who this piece was made for at Christmas time.

The piece measures 9 1/2" tall and 10" wide. Piece weighs over 4 lbs.

Comes from a smoke-free environment. Artist Chase Andrew Winfield is most known for his collection of stylized Baroque. Busts of the imperial family of Russia: Czar Nicholas 11, wife Empress Alexandra and their five children (7 pieces in collection) that took two years to create.

He sculpted a bust of NASCAR racing champion Richard Petty for the Richard Petty Museum. Winfield designed pieces for billionaire David Murdock including those that are on display at Murdock's properties including N. He also created the award statue design for the Arabian Horsemen Awards for Murdock, and was commissioned to create busts of numerous prominent locals. Other works are his artist pieces for home and garden such as fountains, obelisks and sculpture figures such as one that has been reproduced "the original green man face wall decor" made from pecan shell resin.

The artist recently passed away in July 2020. Winfield's career took him from Cannon Mills in N. To the streets of St. Petersburg, Russia and back again.
