This is a very rare De Sela piece. You can see the imperfections in the photos. I believe this is foam and papier-mâché, the foam is the core with papier-mâché surrounding, and then painted with a clear coat with a clear coat over the paint. It sits a staggering 18 in height which is one of the largest of his pieces! This may have imperfections such as, but not limited to: dings, dents, scratches, scrapes, patina, chips, cracks, etc.
