Vintage Norcrest Christmas Pixie Elves on a Candy Cane Japan MCM 1950s Figurine

  
It doesn't get any cuter than this!! This one features two pixie elves riding on a candy cane holding a Merry Christmas banner.

Looks so much like the items made by Norcrest or Napco in the 1950. These little fellas are wearing red Santa suits and caps, and they have the iconic pixie ears and cute little face with big eyes and long lashes, their mouths in an O shape.

They even have candy cane scarves on. The candy cane they ride on is decorated with holly berries. 8" inches long and 4" inches tall. Bottom is marked JAPAN and someone wrote 88 on it.

Piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, no cracks, minimal paint-wear, minimal age related wear, a glaze pop on the back of one of the pixie hats, it is Spectacular!! Colors are very bright with a shiny glaze.

Comes with a box, I don't think it is the original box, it is in good condition, solid, and has several signs of wear, some tears, and someone wrote on the top.
