Wonderful Vintage White German Paper Mache Easter Bunny Rabbit Candy Container - Seated Position with Paws Extended. Natural realistic white color with yellow shading, molded accents & body contours, red painted facial features with black painted pupils. Neck has faded yellow ribbon bow. Love his facial features, esp. Smirk' at side of left mouth/cheek (see last photo). Cardboard Paper Stopper in base removes to reveal secret candy compartment, stopper fits loosely. Stamped'GERMANY' on cardboard stopper, circa 1920's. Measures approximately 3.5" long x 6.5" tall x 1.75 wide. Candy compartment opening is approximately 0.75 in base. Wear consistent with age: random black marks on back and left ear; faded yellow ribbon; tiny chip on top of left ear; some surface spoiling. Displays beautifully in your Easter Vignette.
