Vintage 1950's Harold Gale Christmas Santa Claus 16 Doll In White Velvet Suit

  
Hi, Here we have a vintage Santa Clause figure/doll that is a Gale Howard and it is from the 1950's. This is in great condition and measures 16 tall but the boots may not be original to the Santa Claus figure. There are no holes in the fabric or suit no tears there are a few light spots of dirt that can be seen in the photos if you look hard enough. I think the suit might be able to be cleaned I was looking and it looks like it just might come off to clean it. I couldn't see where it is permanently sewn or glued on there which would be nice because then it could be cleaned up nice to look like brand new again. I do not believe the boots are original to the Santa Claus but they fit him ok and these are what it was wearing when I bought it at the estate sale.

One more thing I have to say and mention I just love the face and beard. The face is so cute with the rosy red lips and cheeks and the curly white beard and eye brows that is only one eye brow and it is so adorable I do not know how any one could not think this Santa is cute. This guy could be put out in a million places for Christmas for decorations even on a sleigh I have that would be perfect for him. Please check out my other items for sale if you have the time.
